Hop Sauna

Federated commerce for independent sellers and creators. Hop Sauna is a self-hostable webshop built on open standards — ActivityPub for federation, schema.org and ValueFlows for commerce vocabulary, Open Payments among its payment rails — so buyers, sellers, and creators interact across independent sites without a central platform. Operators keep full control of their site, their data, and their payments: the software is never a party to a transaction and takes no commission.

The project is in design. There is no release yet.

Documentation

docs/ is the project's reference layer, written for developers and coding agents alike: the principles that bind every decision, the affordances a site provides before any extension is installed, the extension model and its four slots, the design rules for code and interface, the repository structure, and a build guide for each extension slot.

Code is licensed under AGPL-3.0-or-later. Documentation in docs/ is licensed under CC-BY-4.0.
